whoever it is you pray to, be it Aaron Sorkin, god of writing, or SJP, goddess of fashion, be it Tolkien, or Rowling, Locke or Hobbes, the inventor of Nutella or the creator of white bread (both of whom i've been devoting a lot of thought to lately), or you know, actually God, please, please submit your appeal for a new beginning for the U.S. at their feet today. and by new, i don't mean an old, white diminish-er of the estate tax and the dignity of women, gays, and ethnic minorities.
